City of London Festival is another famous Festival that is held in June and July, it is a celebration of music, art, architecture and film. The London International Boat Show is held from the 6th of January and goes on till the 15th. It is held in London’s Docklands. It showcases the latest designs from a huge variety of marine suppliers and manufacturers. The Rise Festival is an annual open air festival. Rise is for all Londoners who come together to celebrate their diversity. It is a day-long festival featuring rock, pop and world music, along with a huge array of family entertainment. After the London bombings the festival was renamed to London United.

The great River Race is another exciting occasion for thse in London. It is a 22 mile race down the River Thames, around 300 boats take part. The Mayor’s Thames Festival is a free event held over a weekend in September honouring the River Thames. It is probably the longest street festival in Europe which is followed by a firework finale.
